    Harald.Fuchs

    Harald.Fuchs is a Professor at the University of Münster, Germany, and President of Herbert Gleiter Institute of Nanoscience, Nanjing University of Science and Technology. Prof. H. Fuchs has carried out nearly 10 years of cooperation research with Tsinghua University, Institute of Chemistry, CAS and Institute of Physics, CAS, under the support of the China-German intergovernmental project on scientific and technological cooperation (Sino-German Major Cooperation Project TRR 61). Systematic studies have been conducted on various preparations of nanomaterials and characterization techniques, especially on various scanning probe techniques. He has published over 400 scientific papers in the top international journals, Nature, Science, Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Mat., Advanced Material, Journal of American Chemical Society, Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Phys. Rev. Lett., Small, Chem. Soc. Rev., Nano Letters, ACS Nano, Adv. Funct. Mater. Besides, he has made 250 invited reports, co-authored 15 books, and had 33 patent applications.

    Qingmin Ji

    Qingmin Ji, a Professor of Herbert Gleiter Institute of Nanoscience, Nanjing University of Science and technology,  PhD tutor. She is mainly engaged in molecular self-assembly, synthesis and preparation of nano-micro materials and other related basic and applied research. She has accumulated a great deal of theoretical and structural synthesis experience in molecular self-assembly, and for the first time developed a number of new technologies for the preparation of inorganic structures controlled by molecular self-assembly (eg, by regulating the surface aqueous layer specification of lipid assembly structures to synthesize transition metal oxides. (Materials), but also mastered the rich experience in the preparation of nano (micro) rice structures and polymer composite membranes, membrane materials in the application of gas sensing and drug release development. She has published more than 70 papers in international famous magazines related to materials science. The total number of SCI citations in the article exceeds 3,000. At the same time, she is also involved in the writing of many monographs.

    Huihui Kong

    Huihui Kong, Professor of Herbert Gleiter Institute of Nanoscience, Nanjing University of Science and technology, graduated from Shanghai Tongji University. Her research activities are focused on the study of surface physicochemical phenomena by using supramolecular chemistry protocols for the growth of samples, and state-of-the-art high-resolution STM, tip-induced lateral manipulation and DFT calculations for characterization. In particular, she is interested in surface-confined coordination chemistry and on-surface molecular design by self-assembly or chemical reactions, two of the most emerging themes within the surface science. So far, she has obtained many novel results, achieving high impact on my community. She has been published in 20 papers including J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., ACS Nano, Chem. Commun., etc.

    Tianchao Niu

    Tianchao Niu, Professor in the Herbert Gleiter Institute of Nanoscience, Nanjing University of Science and Technology. He obtained his PhD from National University of Singapore in 2013. Then he joint the Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology as an Assistant Professor until 2016. He moved to the Center for Functional Nanomaterials, the Brookhaven National Laboratory as a research associate in the group of Prof. Dario. After one year’s postdoctoral experience, he joint HGI, NJUST as a professor. He has fruitful experience in scanning tunneling microscopy. His research interest includes the molecular self-assembly, growth mechanism of two-dimensional materials and the model catalysis. He has first authored 15 papers, including J. Am. Chem. Soc, Nano Today, and invited review papers on the Prog. Surf. Sci. and 2D Materials.

    An Rong

    An Rong, an assitant professor of Functional Self-organized Nanosystems (FSOS), Herbert Gleiter Institute of Nanoscience of Nanjing University of Science and Technology. Her major direction of studying is the adjustment of nano-friction and wettability of surfaces and the design of molecular adsorption performance of different functional materials. Recently, she has published more than 10 papers in international well-known journals in the fields of materials, chemistry, chemical engineering and interfacial fields (ACS Appl. Mater. Interfaces , Adv. Mater. Interfaces, Langmuir, Soft Matter., AIChE Journal, etc.), among which, 8 papers were published as the first author, the co-first author and the co-communication and 2 articles were included in the cover of the periodical. Furthure more, she has applied for 4 national invention patents, one of which has been authorized, and presided over the National Natural Science Foundation and other projects.
